Orient Electric launches Independence Day OOH campaign
The campaign is executed by Avnenir Brand Connect
Orient Electric Limited, part of the diversified CKA Birla Group, has rolled out a nationwide out-of-home campaign for Independence Day, extending its “Chalta Hai, Ab Nahi Chalega” thought into some of India’s busiest and most culturally significant public spaces.
Executed by Avenir Brand Connect, the campaign moves beyond traditional product advertising to challenge the everyday acceptance of compromise. Through strategically placed OOH and DOOH installations, the brand encourages consumers to question why flicker, noise, inefficiency and other daily inconveniences should still be considered acceptable in a country striving for progress.

The campaign has been deployed across high-footfall locations including Heritage Street and the Attari Complex in Amritsar, Chandni Chowk opposite the Red Fort towards Bhagirathi Market in Delhi, Chowringhee Road in Kolkata, and Latouche Road in Lucknow. By placing the message within heritage districts, bustling marketplaces and commercial corridors, the campaign draws a contextual link between India’s journey forward and the need to move beyond the “Chalta Hai” mindset.
The outdoor creatives also spotlight Orient Electric’s product innovations, including EyeLuv LED lighting technology engineered to eliminate flicker, Aerosilent fans operating below 50 dB, and BLDC fans that deliver up to 50% energy savings compared to conventional induction fans. This allows the campaign to transition seamlessly from a broader Independence Day narrative to practical, everyday solutions that embody the brand’s philosophy of choosing better over settling.

Anchored by the call to action #ChaltaHaiSeAzaadi, the campaign uses contextual outdoor media to reinforce Orient Electric’s commitment to higher standards and zero-compromise living, transforming public spaces into reminders that progress begins with the choices people make every day.
